Abstract: In this paper I have compared three comedies written by Shakespeare: Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It and Twelfth Night. I have established a parallelism between them focusing on female’s characters. In the introduction I explain the reasons behind my choice. In order to make clear how these female characters are depicted in these plays, I have provided to each play a section with lots of representative examples about Beatrice, Rosalind and Viola‘s speeches and actions. In addition to this, Shakespeare wrote in the Elizabethan times so it deserves another section where the reasons about female’s behaviour in his works will have justification. If you are interested in my opinions and in the main points of this paper it is gathered in the conclusion.

Auto-evaluation: I think I deserve a mark of 8 taking into account all the effort behind my work in order to write a paper with visual examples provided by text and films analysed.

Title of the paper: EDUCATION: THE GATEWAY TO THE WORLD
Author or topic: Mary Wollstonecraft, Virginia Woolf, Betty Friedan
Abstract: In this paper I have compared Mary Wollstonecraft’s A Vindication of the Rights of Woman, Virginia Woolf’s Three Guineas and Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique. I have established a parallelism between them focusing on education. In the introduction I explain the reasons behind my choice. In order to explain how education is depicted in these works, I have divided my paper into sections. It deals with the political background which infuenced these writings and how it draws up different contexts to approach the same topic. In addition to this, the main body of the paper has focused on similarities shared by these masterpieces with lots of examples which untangle the evolution and the importance education has in society. If you are interested in my opinions and in the main points of this paper it is gathered in the conclusion.

Auto-evaluation: This paper has been done as detailed as it is possible so it took me many hours in front of these books, in front of my laptop, trying to do the best of my own . So for my effort, for time spent on it and because I reckon I have produced a rewarding work, not only for me but also for anyone who desires to read it, I give myself a 9.
